Obstetrics I

This module is designed for BSc Midwifery students to acquire the essential knowledge, skills and attitudes of human embryogenesis and basic care during pregnancy. The module includes preventive measures, supportive care, health message and counseling, and birth preparedness and complication readiness planning that enable Midwives to provide high quality culturally acceptable care during pregnancy. This Module will be addressed through Interactive lecture, Seminar presentations, Skill demonstration (SDL) and supervised feedbacks in simulated environment and real health care setup.
